Morgan E. Morgan

Closing Attorney

Morgan came to real estate law from an unexpected direction. Before joining Maples Richey, she practiced tax law, concentrating on the Employee Retention Tax Credit — a federal program that helped small businesses through the COVID-19 pandemic. The analytical, detail-heavy nature of that work, paired with a pull toward transactional practice, made the move into closings a natural fit. At Maples Richey, she handles residential closings and works closely with the firm's experienced attorneys to deepen her working knowledge of Mississippi real estate law.

Morgan earned an undergraduate degree in political science from Mississippi State University, graduating magna cum laude, and a law degree from Mississippi College School of Law, and was admitted to the Mississippi Bar in 2024. After living in Mobile, Moss Point, and Mandeville, she has settled in Madison, Mississippi. Outside the office, she enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with family, friends, and her two labradoodles, Nelli and Murphy.
